Best CFS of WW2 : IL2 Forgotten Battle

IL-2 Sturmovik (Ил-2 Штурмовик) is a combat flight simulator video game, focused on the air battles of the Eastern Front during World War II. It is named after the Soviet Ilyushin Il-2 ground-attack fighter, which played a prominent role in this theatre. Along with its sequels, it is considered one of the leading World War II flight simulators. The original version of the game featured 31 flyable Soviet, German, American, British, French and Polish planes and an additional 40 non-flyable planes (available as opponents).

The game was developed by 1C: Maddox Games and published by 1C in Russia and Ubisoft in the rest of the world, for PCs on November 18, 2001. The game has been updated frequently, the latest edition that includes all sequels and patches is version 4.08m.

IL-2 Sturmovik and the sequels Forgotten Battles, Forgotten Battles Ace Expansion Pack, Pacific Fighters, Pe-2 add-on, Manchuria and 1946 now contain 347 aircraft, with 256 being flyable. The aircraft covers most major aircraft deployed during World War II as well as some which did not leave the prototype stage.

The game includes a very stable multi-player feature which supports up to 100 players online over the free internet matching service Hyperlobby. The All-Seeing Eye also allows members to host multiplayer games. As of April 2009 the game still attracts over 1,500 online players at peak times.

RC Helicopter : How low are You go ?

The most fascinating way to play in RC business is taking RC Helicopter. Has possible to fly with every manouvre you can get. Fly in any possible field you've can got too like your own backyard! RC Helicopter is a hot hot issue since many years ago. It's however many fan who still in fixwing for a gently elegant model and manouvre.

But honestly, RC helicopter is a hard-hard way to practice (just like in reality). Hovering is another hardest obstacle you must be passing for mastering. But one you have passed it, milions things you could feel it.

RC helicopter is a complicated machine normally. It must be more than 4 chanell to control with gentle. many modeller put a digital gyro device for stabilizing many movement of his beautiful helicopters. Many of them with nitro engines for a big necessary power for lift up. There's a swash plate, collective rod devices, tail rotor, etc etc...such a complicated ones.

But with presence of lighter rechargeable battery, more powerfull electric motor and lighter weight of electronic receiver devices, anything can happened! Now (almost has in 3 years) you can buy a simple 2 channel RC helos, with no more complicated collective and tail rotor unit. You just fly it with rush just like teenagers or kids, not like a pro actualy.

And finally Infrared system control... the helo is no longer in hundreds grams weight again but just in a couple teen of grams! you off course can fly it in your bedroom!! Use your learning desk as a helipad and try to landing in your ... bed. All of these pleasure thanks to miracle world of tiny electronic stuff.

DUCTED FAN (ELECTRIC OR NITRO) ?

With the engine found that nitrous oxide is greater and the widespread use of styrofoam, the ducted fan Airplane into something that started to be developed. Found very similar to original ones, thanks to the absence of a propeller plane outside the body, so it seems really similar.
Airplane radio controlled, ducted fan has been known since starting about 1980. First release of this product is as far as one of USA Byron.
One of the Byron's famous earliest Product for the ducted fan were the Mig 15 and General Dynamics YF16. Nitrous oxide engine size above 0.90 with more than 4 radio channels. Quite good, quite exactly, quite a legend until now. After Byron products have known, some factories such as Greatplane, USA provides the ARF kit nitrous oxide until now.
This's An example video on Youtube 1996 Nitro Airplane ducted fan model:

And this's an examples of one of Largest and Most Powerful Ducted fan engine ever, Kamps KJ-66 (A Real Turbine ones Dude!) :

Electric Ducted Fan
Lately, with the discovery of the growth in the emerging Electronica, Electric ducted fan has been a possible case.
The battery is lighter in weight but with a larger in capacity (over 3000mA). The electric motor is lighter too than before but have more power to make all these things are possible. All be over so that you no longer need a strong engine of fuel for the nitrous oxide fly ducted fan model.
Electric models are very lightweight, easy to fly, easy care and clearly not too noisy and will not need wider space to fly.

Electric or Nitro ?

Electric or Nitro? For those who have limited yard or nearby field, electric is the right choice and reasonable. But for those who want the similarity in detail and an obvious model of nitrous oxide model with a larger scale can not being undefeated yet.

My Another Collections

FS2004 file structure

Like FS2002, FS2004 structure of files still contains : model, panel, sound and texture files, with aircraft.cfg and "aircraft name".air at "aircraft name" directory.

But  the "texture" files, a little bit different structure have found occured by Microsoft. The texture files can be divided for different files with added some order at model.cgf. Thamk's to that, 1 type of aircraft could have some camouflaged or liveries without added too much directories and files.

Another different from older MSFS  are gauges management system. Panel.cfg program can manage all  gauges files with two ways. Manage GAU file like before or manage some ZIP extraction files ones. That because files on FS2004 need more bytes than before.

ITALERI, Italian Jobs for Low Cost Modellers

About ITALERI, a factory in Italy that made everything of modellers dream about. Especially with its good good mantra for a man like me : low cost model kit. We can put more boxes with no more ...money (it's good to me).

About the quality we can discussed that later. With alot of care, we should overcome. The decals you can handle it with best technique you should have (honestly.. be careful mate!). But anyway your benefit not to spend much money of it is worth !

O yeah, a special feature that you can see on ITALERI products most are some colored pictures of decals setting (3 view drawing) inside of its box product. It's nice, and I have some scracth build kits from ITALERI !

ACADEMY, KOREANS BEST FOR ME

Why did Academy models could me mad for a long time? First because its price so competitive for students like me in a past (ten years ago). Its price is one third than the others, its true in my country!!!
Second, because I always love all picture outside the box. Very good painting and almost always had another picture that shoot example when the model had finished.

The third, and the last one too because sometime in my past I found those boxes first time at my town bookstore ! There was no Fujimi, no Revell, no Hasegawa just only the Academy right there (with 1/72nd scale every where).
Assembled with a simple tools, painted with an ordinaries paint that you could find. Almost spended my teen ages. Thanks to Academy for my first model madness !!
